Since taking our first step in 2012, we have continued our journey to turn graphene—the dream material—into a practical industrial reality. Graphene is an innovative material that offers electrical conductivity 100 times higher than copper, strength up to 200 times that of steel, while simultaneously possessing transparency and excellent thermal conductivity.
Based on these properties, graphene opens up a wide range of applications and enables new technological shifts across manufacturing industries such as semiconductors, displays, and home appliances.

Despite the dedicated efforts of many fellow researchers and partners working together to build the graphene industry ecosystem, it is also true that we have faced technical limitations and the challenges of commercialization.
However, Graphene Square is pioneering areas where only graphene can excel, leveraging our proprietary core technologies and actively bringing them to industrialization. Through the evolution of our proprietary technologies, we have received top honors such as the Best Innovation Awards at CES and TIME’s Best Inventions, bringing the era of graphene into everyday life.

With the opening of our new large-area CVD graphene mass production facility in the Pohang Blue Valley Industrial Complex in 2025, we declare the beginning of the Graphene Valley.
This facility will become a hub for the graphene industry, reaching beyond Korea to the global market, and will serve as a powerful driving force for the advancement of key national industries, including innovative home appliances, semiconductors and sensors, electric and autonomous vehicles, secondary batteries, and biotechnology.

Graphene Square will continue to serve as a bridge between science and industry.
